The battery-powered Skoda Enyaq iV is a small crossover SUV made by Skoda Auto. In Prague, it was unveiled in September 2020, and in November 2020, mass production started. As a sister model to the Volkswagen ID.4, it is the first Skoda vehicle to use the Volkswagen Group MEB platform. [8]
The name is a translation of the Irish name Enya, which comes from the Gaelic word Eithne, which means “essence, spirit, or principle.” Within the Skoda lineup, names for electric models will now begin with “E,” with the Enyaq serving as the first example.
