A small SUV over the course of five versions, Jeep built and sold the Jeep Cherokee. It is designed for off-road or on-road excursions. Cherokee began as a full-size SUV, transitioned to a compact SUV, and then debuted as a compact crossover SUV in 2013. The previous nameplate of Jeep Cherokee, which was continually used outside of North America, was brought back with the next-generation SUV.
It was a sporty 2-seater SUV when the Cherokee debuted in the 1970s. Today’s version is a small crossover SUV with higher fuel efficiency but little off-road performance. The inside of the vehicle features the most modern amenities.
